Meeta Gugnani
Owner/ Director

Meeta Gugnani is an Occupational therapist and a Psychotherapist, who has 26 years of experience in working with clients with orthopaedic injuries, acquired brain injuries, stroke and other neurological disorders. She graduated with an Undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy in 1993. She received her Masters of Science with Honors in Occupational Therapy and Minor in Psychology at Tufts University in Massachusetts in 1999. She focused most of her graduate course work and research on cognitive assessments and cognitive remediation. She has worked extensively in rehabilitation hospitals and community settings providing occupational therapy services to clients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. She has held several management and program development positions. She has also provided services as a DAC assessor in the past. She has presented at several national and international conferences and has published on topics on neurological rehabilitation. She holds an appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto at the Faculty of Medicine. Man Girn
Executive Consultant

Man Girn is Executive Consultant of Mind Connections. He hasover 20 years of experience of helping companies create and execute strategic plans. He has worked in United States and Canada and has provided consulting services to companies in the areas of business risk while leveraging industry-specific benchmarking and leading practice information to enhance efficiency. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Accounting with Honors from University of Waterloo. He is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. Mara Malozewski
Registered Occupational Therapist

Mara Malozewski is a registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She got her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University and is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto, where she completed her Master of Science in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. She is also a certified fitness instructor and wellness enthusiast. Mara has a passion for supporting individuals through their recovery journey and enabling them to improve their quality of life and well being through a dynamic, holistic and strengths-based approach. She has experience working with adults and children with various physical, neurological and psychological conditions in a variety of health care settings and community programs. Mara believes in the power of connection, compassion and support to ensure client-centered care and is eager to continue to support clients through their recovery journeys. Shoshana Stein
Occupational Therapist

Shoshana holds a degree as a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. Shoshana is a self-directed, driven and compassionate clinician with experience working with clients with a diverse range of needs. Shoshana is thrilled to be bringing her positive, evidence-based approach to her role as an OT at Mind Connections. Rohan Thompson
licensed Social Worker/Psychotherapist

Rohan Thompson is a licensed Social Worker/Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in the social work field. He provides treatment support to pre-teens, teens, adults, families, groups and people who have suffered injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident using a range of treatment methods, Rohan utilizes a trauma informed, client centered, strengths based, approach that helps individuals live optimally, increase resilience and enhance coping skills. Whether it is anger, anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, loss/grief, Rohan is able to provide support that helps you navigate challenging times in your life. It is Rohan’s core belief that the answers you need are within you and his role is to walk alongside you in your journey. Rohan believes that the foundation of the therapeutic relationship is trust between the client and therapist. He prides himself in providing non-judgmental, caring supportive treatment that will lead to lasting positive change Rohan holds two Degrees from Wilfrid Laurier University including his Masters of Arts in Social Work. In his spare time, Rohan enjoys playing football and has been a youth football coach for over 13 years. Rohan is also a board member of a not-for-profit in the GTA. Alex Rodkin
Social Worker

Alex is a young and energetic social worker, registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. She graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Social work and has a passion to support individuals, who have experienced traumatic events. Hayley Chan
Administrative Assistant

Hayley is a recent Criminology graduate from the University of Western Ontario who is extremely passionate about mental health and wellbeing. She is enthusiastic to learn more about the field of psychotherapy in her role as an Administrative Assistant at Mind Connections, as she aspires to become a mental health professional one day. Hayley is currently an Emotional Support and Shift Supervisor Volunteer with the Certified Listeners Society, and in her free time she enjoys reading creative fiction, and playing the acoustic and electric guitar.
